It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dinah Caines of Fortune, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 10, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dinah Caines to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Willis Hiscock and Hazel MacDonald; her stepfather Cyril MacDonald; and her siblings, Seymour Hiscock, Wavey Piercey, Ruby Hiscock and Juliette Francis.

She is survived by : her husband Cecil Caines; her children, Willis Caines (Maisie) and Ruby Melendy (Wayne); her siblings, Winnie Hiscock, Major Lorne Hiscock (Ella), Murdock Hiscock (Grace) and Willis Hiscock (Linda); her granddaughters, Julianne Cassell (Jonathan) and Jillian Melendy (Shaun); her great grandchild Claire Cassell; her siblings-in-law, Fred Piercey and Sarah Hiscock; her stepsiblings, Edith Marsden (Jim), Hilda Courtney, Gloria Barter (Allister) and Cyril MacDonald (Yvonne); her parents-in-law, Emma Caines and Leslie Caines; and her siblings-in-law, William Caines, George Caines, Fred Caines, Gordon Caines, Earl Mitchell, Raymond Courtney and Mercedes Caines.

In keeping with the current Public Health Advisory of COVID-19, this will be a walk through visitation, with no more than 20 people permitted in the building at one time.

In Dinah's memory donations may be made to Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, or flowers gratefully accepted.
