He is survived by: his wife Denise Piercey; his children, Kayla Benteau (Shane) of St. John's, Kaylynn Piercey (Colin Lake) of St. Lawrence, Michael Piercey and Jodi Piercey; his grandchildren, Emma-Rae, Joy and Owen; his siblings, Trina Piercey (Rod Brady), Geraldine Piercey and Lorne Piercey; his siblings-in-law, Fred Bishop, Joyce Barnes (Gerry Roberts) and Shirley Matthews (Gordon); and his friend Gerald Hillier.
