Fannie Taylor Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2026, Fannie Taylor of Fortune, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her children, Donna (Glen), Deanne, Randy (Beverley) and Rick (Stephanie); her granddaughters, Jennifer and Emily; her parents, Lewis LeGrow and Jessie LeGrow; her parents-in-law, Harvey and Marcella Taylor; her siblings, Lillian, Sadie, Emmie, Margaret and Will; her sister-in-law Gail; her daughter-in-law Kathy; and her close friend Nina Herridge.

She is survived by: her husband Bill; her grandchildren, Jasmine, Delana, Robyn, Stephen and Isaac; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Luke, Liam, Reign, Kyra, Lily, Lena and Devin; her siblings, Jocelyn and Wayne (Marie); her brother-in-law Harold; and her pet Tinker.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Fortune (168-170 Bayview St #168, Fortune, NL A0E1P0). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fortune United Church (2 Church St, Fortune, NL A0E1P0). A burial was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the United Church Cemetery (2 Church St, Fortune, NL A0E1P0).

In Lieu of Flowers, donations in Fannie's Memory may be made to The Fortune United Church Cemetery Fund.
