He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Helpert and Mary Helpert; and his siblings, Patrick Helpert, Dennis Walsh, Madonna Helpert-Hayse and Christina Helpert-Synard.
He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Synard (Brendan) of Parker's Cove; his sibling's children, Charlotte Gaulton (Leonard) of Parker's Cove, Donna Synard of Marystown, Christina Murphy (Colin) of St. John's, Susan Greening (Dylan) of Fort McMurray, AB, Alan Hayse (Carla) of Oshawa, ON, Donny Synard (Kelsey) of Calgary, AB, Derek Synard (Natasha) of Paradise and Charlie Hayse of Calgary, AB; and his close friends, Melvin Murphy of Parker's Cove, Ted Lake of Gould's, Patrick Manning of Keligrews, Peter and Patsy Walsh of Southern Harbour.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. A vigil service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery.
In Frank's memory in-lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
