He is survived by : his wife Donna Newport; his children, Brian Newport (Alicia) of Fortune and Candice Newport (Jordan) of Grand Bank; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Cody and Emma; his siblings, Suzanne Stroughair (Ian) of Grand Bank, Lori Hannam (Greg) of Grand Bank, Frank Newport (Joan) of Grand Bank and Rick Newport (Rhonda) of Grand Bank; his mother-in-law Ida Pierce of Grand Bank; and his siblings-in-law, Daisy Dicks of Grand Bank, Kathy Pierce (Chris) of Burton, NB, Diane Butt of Fortune, Perry Pierce (Joanne) of Fortune and Russell Follett of Grand Beach.
