With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raphael Anthony Hepditch (Fortune, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Kimberley Ann; his mother Ann Hepditch of Clattice Harbour; his cousin Phillip Power of St. John's; and his former wife Laura Ward of Southeast Bight. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Peggy); his children, Mona Murphy (Frank) of Torbay, Raymond Hepditch of Toronto, Desmond Hepditch of Kilbride, Corey Hepditch (Kelly) of Baine Harbour and Lauralee Hepditch (Stephanie) of Torbay; his son-in-law James Murphy of Parker's Cove; his granddaughters, Cheyanne (Rodney), Shawna (Bryce), Sierra and Isabella; his great grandchildren, Tristan, Malcolm, Scott, Maci, Nyla and Gwendolyn; and his cousins, Nellie, Tilly and Doreen.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Ann's Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the St. Ann's Cemetery Southeast Bight.
In Ray's memory, in-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hepditch Family to be donated to charities of their choice.
