He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Hillier and Effie Hillier; his father-in-law Clarence Precoor; his siblings, Alice and Freeman; his stepmother Sarah; his stepsiblings, Joan Stacey (Cecil) and Max Thornhill (Marina); and his brothers-in-law, Austin Hillier and Garfield Bonnell.
He is survived by : his wife Frances; his children, Darlene Hillier-Kaczkofsky (Dominick) of Dubuque, Iowa, Diane Graham (Garnet) of Rankin Inlet, Donna Hillier of Fortune, NL and Darrell Hillier (Lee-Anne) of Sudbury, ON.; his grandchildren, Garnet Graham Jr., Geoffery Graham, Dale Buffett and Wyatt Hillier; his siblings, Gladys, Greta (Walter Bonnell), Shirley (Raphael Lockyer), Eileen (George "Tuss" Rose), Jean (Don Rose), Marjorie (Steve Rose), Lloyd (Mary) and William (Marilyn); his stepbrothers, Arch Thornhill (Eleanor) and Harold Thornhill (Roberta); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Precoor (Betty) and Clarice Vandierendonck (late Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and large circle of lifelong friends.
