William Richard Butt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Richard Butt of Fortune, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Butt and Gladys Butt; his parents-in-law, Charlotte and Jonathon Blagdon; his son Allan Butt; his granddaughter Mandy Brushett; and his siblings, Harvey Butt and Linda Bonnell.
He is survived by: his wife Hattie; his children, Terry Butt (Gail) of Fortune, Billy Butt (Anne Ball) of Burin, Danny Butt of Ontario, Beverley Brushett (Richard) of Stephenville and Valerie Madore (Ronnie) of Kippens; and his niece Maude Anstey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Fortune (168-170 Bayview St #168, Fortune, NL A0E1P0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Price's Funeral Service (29 Citadel Rd, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
