She was predeceased by: her husband John Barker (Jack); her sons, John and Paul Barker (Carolyn); her parents, Christina Innes and Alfred Innes; and her siblings, Catherine McKay (late Steven) and Joseph Innes.

She is survived by: her children, Josephine Sheppard (Graham) of Cornwall, Ontario, Christina Harty (Austin) of Fort McMurray, Alberta and Steven of Paradise, Newfoundland; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Barker (Reg) of Milton, NL; her siblings, George Innes (Joan) and Christina (Anne); and her grandchildren, Kimberley (Henry), Burton, Graham, Austin (Tanya), Kathryn (Shane), Donald (Jennifer), Jeffrey (Stephanie), Patrick and Susan (Andrew). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
