He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thompson and Elsie Feener; and his siblings, Harvey, Dorothy, Norma, Olga, Roy, Clifford, Janice, Joan, Frank, Barbara and Lorraine.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Tricia (Max Simms) of Corner Brook, NL and Danielle (Jason Frost) of Gander, NL; his grandchildren, William, Ben, Ellie, Matthew and Noah; his pet Sammy; his siblings, Greta (David Orsborn) of St. John's, NL, Jerry (Maria) of Grand Falls, Mona of Grand Falls and Ed (Bernie) of Mt. Pearl, NL.; his in-laws, Fred and Triffie; and his siblings-in-law, Derek, Herb, Glenn, Linda (Jim) and Ramona (Don).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stacey's Funeral Home (60 Roe Ave, Gander, NL A1V 2E1). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery.
