She is survived by: her husband Chuck MacDonald; her daughter Danelle; her siblings, Joan (Barry), John (Cathy), Maurice (Donna), Gert, George (Theresa), Mike (Janet), Jim (Nat), Ed (Leslie), Tommy, Daryl, Bernice (Clive), Marilyn, Elaine (Danny), Kathy (Walter) and Sharon (Bill); her brother-in-law Barry; her sister Shelia (Roger); her siblings-in-law, Roger and Theresa; her niece Thais; her nephew Brendon; her brothers-in-law, Danny and Walter; her sister Mary (Rod); Bronwyn, Bernie, Annie, Bernice, Marilyn, Elaine, Kathy and Sharon.
In lieu of flowers, she would have wanted those wishing to honour her to continue making a difference in the lives of others. Donations in her memory can be made to the James Paton Memorial Kidney Dialysis Unit, started by the Power family in honour of their late father and grandfather, Ned Power.
