He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sheppard and Harriet Sheppard; and his siblings, Willie, Harvey, Raymond and Doris Cull (Clive).

He is survived by: his wife Zelma; his sister Fannie Burt; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Sheppard, Maxine Sheppard, Margaret Sheppard, Rita Ellsworth, Ivan Ellsworth (Elaine), Winston Ellsworth and Earl Ellsworth (Violet). He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
