He was predeceased by : his father Samuel Godwin; his parents-in-law, A. K. and Myrtice Collins; and his nephews, Patrick and John.
He is survived by : his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Mercer, Lillian Holmes, George Collins and Melvin Holmes; his mother Mary Godwin; his mother-in-law Annie Godwin (Collins); his siblings, Taylor (Shannon), Corey (Joanne) and Troy; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Kerry, Abi, Vayda, Paiton, Greyson and Gracie; his siblings-in-law, Laurie Collins (Daphne), Nina McGrath (Gregory), Jean Godwin and Karin Godwin; and his cousin Marshall Payne. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
We also very much appreciate the visits from family and friends as well as donations of food and money. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Cecil's name to the Fogo Island Health Centre in care of the Central Northeast Health Foundation.
