He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin West and Rowena West (Banfield); and his brothers, Philip and Everett West. He is survived by: his wife Joyce West (Patey); his sons, Blaine Patey and Jamie West; his brother Calvin West; and his granddaughter Amelia Anstey.
