With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Greening (Gander, Newfoundland), born in Bloomfield, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabella Peddle and Jesse Peddle; her husband Joseph Greening; her son Eugene Clayton; her siblings, John, Roy, Sylvester, Robert, Joseph, Nell (Fogwill), Livinia (Brown), Linda (Keats), Annabelle (Peddle) and Gertrude (Holloway); her siblings-in-law, Ethel, Hilda, Susie, Myrtus, Eugene Fogwill, Lymon Brown, James Keats and Clayton Holloway; and her son-in-law George Hapgood.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy (Thelma), Nancy Drover (Randy) and Sheri Baird (Roger); her daughter-in-law Lorraine (Bunny); her sister Charlotte; her sister-in-law Daisy; her grandchildren, Lori, Brad, Sherri, Laura, Michelle, Kieran and Jordie; her great grandchildren, Heidi, Katie, Christie, Allysa, Brody, Reigan, Brady, Zachary, Chelsea and Freyja; and her great great grandchild Markus.
If anyone wishes, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Doris's favourite organization that she was a part of for a long time, the Terra Nova Community Workers, or to a charity of their choice.
