He was predeceased by: his son Leslie; his parents, Lewis Burton and Charlotte (Hodnott); and his siblings, Dutton (Dut), Eric, Burt, Stella, Lucy, Lorraine and Trixie.
He is survived by: his daughter Gail (Noseworthy); his wife Margaret (Churchill); his daughter-in-law Debbie Burton; his grandchildren, Jeanette (Glen Squires), Jennifer (Austin Haines), Brian Noseworthy (Amanda), Shawn Burton (Heather) and Eric Burton; and his great grandchildren, Shaunae Squires (Daniel Allen), Sienna Squires, Issac Haines, Tyler Haines, Ashton Noseworthy, Joshua Noseworthy, Adyson Burton and Jacob Zevenhuizen.
A small graveside service will take place at a later date No flowers by request. A donation in Edgars name can be made to a charity of ones choice or to Wild Souls Animal Alliance.
