She was predeceased by : her husband Alexander Brown; her parents, Clement Drake and Lillian Drake; her brother Maurice Drake; and her sister-in-law Alice Greene.

She is survived by : her children, Geraldine (Rudy), George (Sandra), Leon (Michelle), Ivan and Shirley (Mark); her grandchildren, Craig, Victor (Samantha), Micheal (Sarah), Sheldon (Shari), Bradley, Jeffrey (Lori), Jonathan, Chloe, Eddie (Courtney), Andrew (Charlene), Jennifer (Josh), Stephanie (Bradley), Cassandra (Ian), Samantha (Aaron) and Chelsea (Bryan); her great grandchildren, Abigail, Erica, Charlotte, Tyler, Owen, Clark, Logan, Alexander, Ashton, Lincoln, Jacob, Allysha, Everlee, Ryder, Kaleb, Ethan, Connor, Ava, Carson, Gunner, Gracie and Ledger; her brother Patrick Drake; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Drake. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Florance's memory may be made to the Central Northeast Health Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or to the Anglican Church, Trinity, B. Bay.
