He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Goulding; his brother-in-law Gerald Ridgley (Elvis); and his son-in-law Gordon Bernard. He is survived by: his children, Wanda Bernard (late Gordon), Rod Goulding and Paula Goulding (Warren Langer); his siblings, Gwen Cooper (late Ted), Clem Goulding (Myrtle) and Isabel; his brother-in-law Cyril Waterman; and his grandson Brennan Goulding. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
