With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Christopher Pitcher in Gander, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though George has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Pitcher and Dorcas Pitcher; and his girlfriend Linda Clarke. He is survived by: his close friend Cosetta; and his grandchildren, Jacob Pitcher (Scott) and Molly Foulkes (Lori). He is also survived by his children grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery.
