He is survived by : his girlfriend Mary; his daughter Michelle Hedd (Rodney); his grandsons, Marcus and Daniel; his girlfriend's children, Paula (Darin), Faye (James) and Todd (Karen); his great grandchildren, Leia and Luke; his brother Ches (Brenda); and also, Hillary (Myles), Krirstie (David), Cameron (Jessica), Brandon (Mallory), Cody (Erica) and Christopher.

Donations in Harold's memory may be made to the Cancer Clinic at the James Paton Memorial Health Centre, Gander.
