He was predeceased by: his wife Beth; his son Stephen "Butch"; and his brother Jim Clarke. He is survived by: his daughters, Beverley (Terry Tibbo), Stephanie Liptak (Chris), Hayley, Charlene (Sean McElhinney) and Seana (Graham Rose); his grandchildren, Shannon Clarke, Jordan McElhinney, Jake McElhinney, Shane Liptak, Cutler Liptak, Kristopher Clarke and Morgan Woollings; his great grandchildren, Leah Leenstra, Ivy Hoffe, Vaeda Hoffe, Raya Powell, Viktoria Liptak and Veronika Liptak; his brother Bill Clarke; and his sister-in-law Myra Clarke. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Hayward's memory may be made to the Mazol Shriners.
