He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Elliott and Pearl Elliott of Crow Head, Twillingate; his siblings, Annie Legge (Martin), Ada "Dolly" Pippy (Victor) and Max (Shirley); and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Hull, Miriam Ploughman (Jack), Myrtle Ploughman (Reuben) and Lucy Lush (Walter).
He is survived by: his wife Adelaide; his children, Liska Burt (Frank) and Glenn (Mat); his grandchildren, Elliott Burt (Colette) and Alyssa Lodge (Dylan); his great grandchild Barrett Lodge; his siblings, Lindy (Daisy), Doyle (Joan) and Maxine Hull; and his sister-in-law Margaret White (Bob) of Ontario. He is also survived by nieces, nephews & friends.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations in Hiram's memory may be made to the Gander & Area Food Bank.
