He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bartlett and Dorothy Bartlett; his parents-in-law, Gordon and Mary Harris; his brother Gordon; and his sister-in-law Marjorie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, David and Ruth; his son-in-law Graham Tweedie; his grandchildren, Iain and Erin Tweedie; and his sister-in-law Daphne.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donation in Howard's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
