Ivy West Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivy West (Gander, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 24, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Achibald Wellon and Rosanna Wellon of Ladle Cove; and her siblings, Everett, Arthur, Randolph, Joseph, Wallace and Louise.

She is survived by: her husband Clarence; her children, Lorne (Janet), Terry (Cindy) and Lisa (Bernard); her grandchildren, Samantha and Andrew; and her siblings, Doris and Clifford (Nina). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

In memory of Ivy, donations may be made to The Heart and Stoke Foundation.

“Uncle clary, Lorne, Terry, Lisa and families we are so sorry to hear the passing of Aunt Ivy. The times we spent around her, she was always pleasant and we always had a laugh....we’d love to spend time with you now and give you all a big hug and reminisce with you all. Unfortunately, we are unable due to the restrictions. We all long for the time when God’s promise will be fulfilled at 1 Corinthians 15:26 “and the last enemy ,death, is to be brought to nothing”...thinking of you all during this sad time..With deepest sympathy....
