We announce the death of James Crewe (Gander, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber and Mina; his father-in-law Wilfred Rowe; and his siblings-in-law, Ernest Burden and Ruby.
He is survived by: his wife Wavey; his daughters, Lacey Crewe (Dwayne Rowsell) of Main Point and Cynthia Crewe of Main Point; his siblings, George Crewe (Barb) of Gander, Reg Crewe of Oliver, BC, Diane Burden of Gander, Peggy White (Jim) of Gander and Dora Collins (Lloyd) of Gander; his grandchildren, Autum Rowsell, Grayson Rowsell and Maxwell Rowsell; his mother-in-law Hazel Rowe; his nieces and nephews, Brian Crewe (Lauren), Jay Burden (Trina), Peter Burden (Andrea), Bobby Crewe (Cindy), Amanda Crewe (Hart), Ashley Coolen (Rob), Brianne White (Harold) and Christina Collins (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Gillingham (Kevin) and Larry Rowe. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
