She is survived by: her son Jody of Carmanville; her siblings, Stedman of Carmanville, Marjorie (David) of Carmanville, Marie (Freeman) of Carmanville and Sheila (Gonzo) of Paradise; her nieces and nephews, Dana, Carla, Nancy, Tony, LeeAnn, Leslie and Conway; her great-nephew Mitchell; and her great-niece Megan.

In lieu of flowers donations in Joan's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Diabetes Canada.
