He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Martha (Patsy); his partner Jean Sheppard Allan; his son Christopher Menchion; his partner's son Andrew Allan; his father Don Menchion of Gander; his siblings, Rhodie Menchion (Marion) of Goose Bay, Dave Menchion (Madonna) of Gander, Judy (Ian) of California and Gertie Cahill (Gerard) of Gander; and his grandchildren, James, Lucas and Cameron Menchion. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; and a vast community of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations on Larry's memory to the Dr.H. Bliss Cancer Centre are graciously accepted.

“This is one of his great grandkids, Lucas. He was the most special person. We would have sleepovers for weeks on end and play the NES together in the basement with Cameron. He was the most funny guy on the planet and I, too share his humor. He died on James' birthday too which is even more heartbreaking... we still miss him dearly as well as his great guitar and singing talents.”
