She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Brown and Meta Brown; her siblings, Mackie, Lynn and Doreen; and her niece Lois Sheppard.
She is survived by: her husband Ross Gidge of Fairbank; her sons, Vardy Gidge (Cindy) of Gander and Morris Gidge (Paulette) of St; her grandchildren, Katelyn, Danielle, Brandon and Jenna; her siblings, Oswald (Sadie) of Summerford and Elizabeth (Scott) of Appleton; and her sister-in-law Velvie Brown.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stacey's Funeral Home (60 Roe Ave, Gander, NL A1V 2E1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evangel Pentecostal Community Church (130 Magee Rd, Gander, NL A1V2R3). A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery.
