She was predeceased by : her parents, Eric Wicks and Marie Wicks (McDonald); her in-laws, Nelson, Ola and Marjorie; her sister Patsy; her siblings-in-law, Larry and Janet (Harry); and her nephew Bob Jr..

She is survived by : her boyfriend Bob Briggs (Robert); her sons, Corey (Colleen) and Christian (Sylvie); her siblings, Jackie, Shirley (Fred) and Dennis (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jaime (Josh), Leela (Evan) and Sara; her niece Erica; and her nephews, Mark and Chris.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stacey's Funeral Home (60 Roe Ave, Benton, NL A0G1C0). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 8 (193 Elizabeth Dr, Gander, NL A1V1H6).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
