It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael McNiven (Gander, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McNiven and Martina McNiven; his sister Helen Burton; and his son Bob. He is survived by: his wife Lee; his daughter Michelle (Paul); his daughter-in-law Cindy; his grandchildren, Hayley (Phillip), Dylan and Chantel; his great grandchildren, Lucy, Ruby, Bobbi and Kai; his siblings, Pat (Lillian), Wayne (Joe), Shirley (Aiden) and Billy (Jocelyn); and his brother-in-law Roy Burton.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's memory to the Diabetes Association.
