With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Amy Powell (Gander, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 13, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Colin; her parents, Israel James "Jim" Dyke and Elizabeth Dyke (Brown); and her sisters, Winnifred, Mabel and Emma.
She is survived by: her children, Don (Cindy) of St. John's and Susan of Saint John, NB; her grandchildren, James of Houston, TX and Theresa of St. John's; and her niece Barb Surette-Pittman (Dana) of St. John's. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
Flowers are warmly accepted and donations in Mildred's memory can be made to Good Shepherd United Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
