Myles Michael Gunn Obituary

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, Myles Michael Gunn in his 65th year due to sickness due to heart and lung failure.

Myles was a loving husband, a devoted father and cherished everyone around him. He loved life and cherished the love of his life, Jennifer Gunn. He dearly loved his daughter, his two sons and grandson. They were everything to him.

Myles moved to Gander in 2011 and started working for Jim Wiseman with Gander Tours and Charters. He considered Jim as family. In 2016 he married the love of his life Jennifer Gunn (as he put it, she was his lifeline).

Myles is predeceased by his mother Ena Gunn, father Richard Gunn, stepdaughters Karen and Krista Hart, whom he spoke of often. His father-in-law Cyril Hicks, mother-in-law Gertrude Osmond, sisters Doris King, Juanita Pardy and brother Wayne Gunn & Audrey Crewe.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his beloved wife of 14 years, Jennifer Gunn, daughter Karen (Michael) of Peterview, sons Billy Joe (Bj), Myles Junior of Corner Brook, grandson Riley Rowsell, sister Anna Gunn (Rodney) of Botwood, brother-in-law Adam Tucker (Ingrid) of Alberta, brother-in-law David Gibbons (Roxanne) of St. Lawrence, Glen Crewe of Cormack and also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family will be accepting friends at Stacey's Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10th from 2;00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place at the Salvation Army Citadel on Thursday, December 11th at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.

Myles will be remembered and loved by all that knew him. He will live on in our hearts forever.

We would like to thank the staff at James Paton Memorial Hospital for the kindness and heartfelt care and compassion they showed at this difficult time. It will never be forgotten.
