We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2024, at the age of 93, Rita Simms (Gander, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Ford Simms; her parents, Alfred Thomas Hardy and Elizabeth Hardy; her siblings, Joyce Baker and Waldron Hardy; and her aunt Bella Dawe.

She is survived by : her daughter Judy Branton of Glenwood; her grandchildren, Angie McAllister and Ryan Branton; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Branton, Samuel Branton and Shelby McAllister (Samuel).
