He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stephen Jeans and Hilda Jeans of Lewisporte; his uncle Leslie; his sons, Leslie Robert and Gregory Dean; his grandchildren, Abigail and Daniel; his friend Nelson Watton; his wife Lydia; his siblings, Dorothy, Martha, Julia, Hilda, Dexter and Lloyd; his stepsiblings, Walter, Edwin, William, Jehu, Joseph, Elizabeth and Rebecca; and his parents-in-law, Gretta and Leo.
