We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2021, at the age of 87, Walter M. Nolan (Gander, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nolan and Rose Nolan; his son Stephen; and his siblings, Agnes Joy and Edward.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Nee Quinlan); his children, Walter (Trudy), Randy (Angela), Tony (Sarah), Michael (Christina), Richard, Jimmy (Cynthia), Donna (Geoff Moss), Debbie (Ross Parrott) and Linda; and his siblings, Sam (Sheryl), James (Margaret), Brian (Shawn), Bill (Cecilia), Terry, Anne (Reub Hillier), Doris (Rob Knowlan) and Rose (Bill Legge). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, Suite 305, 136 Crosbie Road, St. John's, NL. A1B 3K3 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1037 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL. A1N 5E9.
