He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Grouchy (Fudge); and his siblings, Johnny, James, Matthew, Margaret, Carmel and Patsy.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Lorenzen (Wayne) and David Grouchy; his grandchildren, Allison Tizzard (Justin) and Steven Lorenzen; and his sister Alice Dean (Grouchy).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stacey's Funeral Home (60 Roe Ave, Gander, NL A1V2E1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joesph's Roman Catholic Church (60 Roe Ave, Gander, NL A1V2E1).
