With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilson Simms of Gander, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Simms and Blanche Simms; and his siblings, William, Everett, Frank, Eric, Ruby and Juanita.
He is survived by: his wife Mercedes; his children, Duaine (Edith) and Heather (Eugene); his grandchildren, Chelsey (Damien) and Alexander (Chelsea); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Theo and Tommy; and his siblings, Malcolm, Peter, Margaret, Sadie and Isabel (Ross).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martin's Cathedral Gander or Lakeside Homes Gander.
