He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Grandy and Emma Grandy; his siblings, Randy, Darrell and Rowena; and his siblings-in-law, Phillip, Lawrence May and Patricia Grandy (Juanita).
He is survived by: his siblings, Bruce (Theresa), Charles (Ruby), Cove, Bernard (Marceda), Ray, Louetta Croft (Terry) of Liscombe, NS, Bertha May of Dartmouth, NS and Effie May of Dartmouth, NS.
In lieu of flowers, in Leighton's memory donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Garnish, NL.
