It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alexander James Lilly of Gaultois, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude; his parents, Leonard and Emily; his brother Harold; his daughter Cynthia; and his great grandchild Dallen.
He is survived by: his children, David, Gabriele, Isabel (Reuben), Bernice (Don), Delcie (Sagheer), Beverly (Tom), Marcy (Todd) and Brenda (Allan); and his siblings, Martha, Rita and Reginald. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Saviour's Anglican Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
