She was predeceased by: her husband Max Hunt; her parents, Benjamin Banfield and Myrtle Banfield; her siblings, Ada Prior and Shirley Banfield; and her son-in-law Everett Simms.

She is survived by: her children, Derek (Patricia), Todd (Daphene), Marie Simms and Judy Mayo (Anthony); her sisters, Joyce King (Redmond) and Juanita Crewe; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Harris and Laura Banfield. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
