He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Smart and Joyce Smart; and his grandparents, Laurier, Alice Smart, Peter and Harriett Keats.
He is survived by: his children, Cory, Jennifer, Abigail, Mallory and Mandy; his grandchildren, Brandon, Jordyn, Hayley, Stephen, Austin, Chloe and Rosalie; his siblings, Norm (Patricia), Roy and Sherri-Lynn; and his nieces, Dolores, Naomi, Sarah, Erica, Ava and Aily.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Church (216 Main St N, Glovertown, NL A0G2M0).
