He was predeceased by : his wife Esther Saunders; his parents, Edwin Saunders and Effie Saunders; his siblings, Ross, Gladstone, Pearce, Jessie, Audrey, Olive and Ruby; and his parents-in-law, Victor and Alfreda Feltham.

He is survived by : his sons, Dean (Trina), Dale (Tara) and Kerry (Geraldine); his foster sons, Guy (Tina) and Glen; and his sisters, Dinah, Rexine and Geneva.
