He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Powell and Barbara Powell; his wife Lily Powell (Frampton); and his siblings, Colin Powell, Dorothy Powell, Stella Powell, Margaret Wilcox, Naomi Powell and Geraldine Surette.

He is survived by : his children, Gary Powell (Cathy), Daniel Powell (Robyn), Charles Powell (Leslie), Margaret Burry (Arnold) and Jacqueline Powell (Omar). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Donations to the Good Shepherd United Church would be graciously appreciated.
