It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phoebe Matilda Mulrooney (Glovertown, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Stead and Eliza Glover; and her sister Dorothy Davis (Claude). She is survived by: her husband John Mulrooney; her children, Melissa Jennings (Rocky) and John Adam Mulrooney (Lori); her grandchildren, Cody, Cheyanne and Emma; her siblings, Lucy Saunders (late Robert), Jonas Stead (Diane), Roland Stead (late Wanda), Walter Stead (Barbara) and Joseph Stead (late Ruth); and her friend Heather Elliot (Dave). She is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
