He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Hearn and Albertha Hearn; his sister Regina Beaubier; his parents-in-law, Margaret and Val Noonan; his brothers-in-law, David Noonan, George Ridgeley and Don Graham; and his in-law David.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Jeffrey (Joanne), Jayme and Suzanne; his grandchildren, Emily (Blake), Oliver and Ethan; his siblings, Ambrose (Marie), June, Dave (Trish), Trudy Harte (Ronnie) and Cathy Peyton (Dan); his in-laws, Mary Ridgeley, Elizabeth Graham, Elaine Noonan, John Noonan, Frankie Noonan and Philip Noonan (Deanna); and his brother-in-law Don Beaubier.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Kevin's Church (454 Main Rd, Goulds, NL A1S1E8). The inurnment was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the St. Kevin's Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Gary's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, War Amps, or Alzheimer's Society.
