With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Marie (Crane) Philpott (Goulds, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2026 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Crane and Madeline Crane; her parents-in-law, Mary and Nicholas Philpott; her siblings, Jill and Eugene; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Philpott (Ellen), Robert Clarke and Patsy Philpott.
She is survived by: her husband Terry; her children, Tracey (Terry Clarke) and Terry (Leanne); her stepchildren, Graham and Rosemarie; her grandchildren, Brandon and Aleah; her friend Bev Radford; her pets, Molly and Sweetie; her siblings, Janet (Alf), Yvonne (Larry), Leona (Hugh), Carol (Joe), Paul (Debbie), Kenny (Mary) and Colin (Lisa); and her siblings-in-law, Grace (Marie), Nick (Francis), Jim (late Betty), Jack (Patsy), Brian (Cynthia), Gary (Madonna) and Ray (Donna). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, a large circle of extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Kevin's RC Church (454 Main Rd, Goulds, NL A1S1E8). The inurnment was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at the Kilbride RC Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Linda's memory may be made to Mazol Shrine Centre.
