He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Dicks and Lillian Dicks; his stepmother Bella; his parents-in-law, William and Louisa Peach; his sons, Edgar Dicks and William Dicks (Bill); his son-in-law Wayne Kelland; his siblings, Raymond Dicks and Sylvia Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Grace Dicks, Mildred Peach, William Peach (Brud), Gordon Frampton, Clyde Brown, Peter Senior, Kevin Murphy, Raymond Hodder and Herbert Butler.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn B. Dicks (Peach); his daughters, Brenda Perry of Grand Bank, Flora Dicks (Glenn) of Brigus and Joan Dicks (Dave) of Grimsby, ON; his daughter-in-law Daisy Dicks; his grandchildren, Denica Foote (Chris), Kimberly Barber (William), Thomas Francis (Patricia) and Travis Perry (Dawn); his great grandchildren, Abigail, Emily, Liam, Bryce, Rory, Jada, Emma and Sophia; his siblings, Catherine Smith (Ivan), Elsie Dicks, Bert Dicks (Neta) and Bill Dicks (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Senior, Shirley Murley (Chester), Minnie Butler, Florence Cox (Randy), Cecil Peach (Margaret) and Ruben Peach (Barbara).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Grand Bank (48 Marine Dr, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the C. Barnes' Funeral Service (29 Citadel Rd, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Salvation Army Cemetery (2 Cemetary Rd, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0).
