Ethel Keeping Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Keeping of Grand Bank, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 7, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Claude and George Follett; her husband Chesley; her parents, Ernest Follett and Beulah Follett; her sons, Boyd (Maureen), Chesley and Lloyd; her brothers, John (Sadie), Stanley (Stella), Bert (Charlotte) and Eli; her sisters-in-law, Anne, Margaret Follett, Wanda Follett (Morgan), Bertha Follett (Wilfred) and Selina Matthews (Walter); her sister Nina Lagasse (Felix); her brother-in-law Hector MacDougal; and her parents-in-law, George and Charlotte Keeping.

She is survived by: her children, Roy (Betty) of Grand Bank, Bert (Ruth) of Grand Bank, Dennis (Amanda) of Alberta and Elizabeth Hanham (Max) of Grand Bank; her sister Lorena MacDougal; her sisters-in-law, Jessie Hollett (Bill) and Bessie Follett; her grandchildren, Colin, Cameron, Candace, Brandon, Monica, Mya and Madelynn; and her great grandchildren, Beau, Shane, Hannah and Jared.

In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place with a maximum of 25 people at any one time is permitted. As per COVID 19 regulations, everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.

In Ethel's memory donations may be made to the Grand Bank United Church Roof Fund or the Masonic Lodge, Grand Bank or flowers gratefully accepted.
