He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walters and Sarah Walters; his parents-in-law, John Ben and Ruby Anstey; his grandparents, John, Rhoda Walters and Mary Hickey; and his siblings, Rendell Walters, Jim Walters (Leta), Norman Walters, Wallace Walters (Lillian), Annie Lockyer, Florence Pike and Martha Wiffen.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his children, Brian Walters (Susan) of Grand Bank, Jimmy Walters (Corkey) of Winnipeg, May Whynot (Jimmy) of Grand Bank and Cathy Pierce (Terry) of Grand Bank; his grandchildren, Ruby Kelly (Brent), Hannah Walters (Mitchell), Tyler Adrian (Cassandra), Cameron Walters, Sarah Pierce (Shawn), Jamie Walters, Chelsea Pierce, Colton Whynot and Brian Walters; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Mya, Lucas, Paisley, Tenley, Raymond, Adeline, Gabriel and Hayden; his siblings, Mildred Hoskins and Morgan Walters (Dianne); and his brothers-in-law, Clyde Anstey (Carolann), Joe Lockyer (Goldie), Russell Pike and John Whiffen.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Grand Bank (48 Marine Dr, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Salvation Army Cemetery (2 Cemetary Rd, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0).
