He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Nellie; his parents-in-law, Thomas and Elizabeth; his brother George; and his sisters-in-law, Stella and Lori.
He is survived by: his friend Gertie; his children, Linda (Lester), Bill (Janice), Susan (Bill), Tom (Shelley) and Ken (Esther); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Terry), Kim, Greg, Jeff (Kiana), Brad (Natalie), Justin, Angie, Tommy, Andrew, Emily, Jesse, Adrian, Kalan and Damian; his great grandchildren, Hope, Claire, Alexandra, Nikita, Faith, Oaklyn, Jack, Sarah, Rhemi and Hayes; his siblings, Frank and Lilly; his siblings-in-law, Les (Mary), Rupert (Patsy), Violet (Woodrow), Maude (Jerry) and Viola (Joe); and his close friend Barry.
